Booking Conditions

1. The information about our cottage has been compiled as accurately as possible at the time of printing. We will endeavour to inform you of any alterations as soon as possible.

2. In the event of us having to withdraw the cottage from the market we will refund all monies paid.

3. The holidaymaker undertakes to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the premises in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and also undertakes to leave the premises in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. We should be compensated for any damage and breakages that may occur (fair wear and tear excepted).

4. We welcome well-behaved pets. We reserve the right to charge cleaning and repair costs if your pet damages any aspect of the cottage, e.g. a part of the building, furniture and/or soft furnishings.

5. The number of persons using the cottage should not exceed FOUR except where a Z bed has been requested for a 5th visitor.

6. We, or our representatives, are to be allowed access to the cottage at reasonable times during the holiday occupancy.

7. If the holidaymaker finds it necessary to cancel the holiday before the final balance is due he, should inform us immediately and we will endeavour to re-let the cottage. If the cottage is re-let, then all deposit monies will be repaid less a handling charge of £20.00. If the property is not re-let then, unfortunately, all the monies paid are forfeited. It is strongly recommended, that you take out a Holiday Cancellation Plan to cover this eventuality.

8. If you find it necessary to cancel the holiday after the final balance becomes due, whether or not it has been paid, then unless the cottage is re-let you will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. If the cottage is re-let all monies will be repaid less a handling charge of £58.00. Again, we strongly recommend a Holiday Cancellation Plan to cover this eventuality.

9. If, after we have confirmed your holiday date in writing, you wish to change the date of your holiday, then we will make every effort to make the re-arrangement subject to availability. You will be liable to pay a rearrangement fee of £25.00 for each week booked. IT IS UNLIKELY THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO RE-ARRANGE YOUR HOLIDAY LESS THAN EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE IT IS DUE TO COMMENCE.

10. If you have cause for concern, please report the matter to us immediately during your stay and we will endeavour to investigate and correct the problem. We hope that you will appreciate that we cannot deal with complaints upon departure or on your return home.

11. Payment of the balance of the total cost of the holiday is due 8 weeks before the date on which the holiday is to commence and should be sent without further reminder please.
